DUBAI: Pakistani batsman Saim Ayub equals an unwanted world record in T20 cricket.
Left-handed batsman Saim Ayub was once again dismissed for a duck in the Asia Cup T20 match against Bangladesh.
Saim returned to the pavilion for a duck for the fourth time in the ongoing event in the United Arab Emirates and for the sixth time this year.
After being dismissed for a duck in a row, Ayub equaled the world record for the most ducks in a calendar year in T20 Internationals.
Saim was dismissed for a duck for the most number of times in 2025, 6 times.
Earlier, Zimbabwean Richard Ngara had returned to the pavilion 6 times in T20 without scoring a run in 2024.
